Hi everyone, I've been getting a couple of emails that are saying that it's hard to comment on my blog. I've changed a setting to see if that helps. Can you let me know if it's working?

On another note, I apologize for not commenting more on more of y'all's blogs. I've been in pain, and the pain pills are making it hard to concentrate...heck...hard to stay awake.

The knee is a little better today, I think because the front has gone ahead and pushed on through. It's chilly here, and overnight temps might be in the mid 30's here. I think my plants will be well enough protected. (crossed fingers)

So, have y'all decorated or are you planning on decorating the outside of your house? The Wests, our good neighbors asked us if we'd please put up some lights (they put them up for us, really) because they wanted the little girls in the family to have a more festive environment. I've seen several of our neighbors have decorated recently, but not many on our street. I hope that changes this year. I think we need a little Christmas this year.

  1. I do hope you feel better. I can predict the weather with my sinuses.

I'll be decorating the outside with white lights. I use to do a lot but my kids grew up. Now I just plan on making my front door the focal point.

I still find it hard to post when there isn't a Name/url option. You have it set up as open url. The option you have chosen is more difficult to post because it backs you out if you aren't logged in to the system. Also, not all of us 50ishers are computer loving enough to fool with it. I hope this helps you. You'll get more comments if you give a Name/url as an option.

    Happy Holidays

  2. Flowergardengirl, sadly, that option doesn't seem to be available to the blogspot blogs. At least, it isn't an option that shows...

It's one of the issues that are making us think about moving our blogs.

  3. Oh, you do have the option of an open id, which seems to mean (I had to look it up--correct me if I'm wrong), that if you're logged into your wordpress id, you should be logged in to comment here. Can anyone help here?

  4. Over the past several weeks, I found it impossible to comment on your blog. Because I'm still using dial-up (it's all I can afford), I thought the problem was on my end.

Well, I don't know if this will help you, but I just looked at the comments on my Blogspot blog and there are three options:
    1)Open Id

And I don't use comment moderation or word verification.

I'm sorry about your pain. I can relate. But glad your knee is better. Take care!
